Hello USA yet another beautiful day in the sand – All most anyway – We are in yellow status – Boy they sure have installed a really good p/a system around this place – 11 days and a wake up – Man am I ready – Beings this must be show your footwear week – Spaz started it – I am ready to travel
- Put those in the slipper mode and they are easy to get on and off – Be it going through the detectors or getting comforatable in the plane – No my feet smell like roses-Nobody ever knows — I sent my 3 month old pair home with Dennis yesterday and he will have them washed and looking new for 5 bucks – Heck laundry is free so I figured 5 in 18 months isn’t so bad – They also find them in dumpsters because people throw them away when they get dirty – Especially the soldiers who buy them and then need to move out – Heck they are new – Only need a good washing - These are new but now I will have 2 and can have a pair washed -The laundry won’t do shes - Man good subject huh girls – Shoes ((wink)) - We went to green so all is good – 
Better than coffee – We were coming to work this morning and my buddy had to make a quick detour – I am saying hey no biggie – About that time an F-16 took off Gosh what a site – Like a big white bright light – All of a sudden it just goes straight up – Then it finally straightens out and you can not see the exhaust anymore – People just don’t know the feeling of power – They hurt your ears if your near and you can always feel the ground shake – I know they have got to scare those bad dudes – Wow its weekend eve – Everybody have a great weekend eve and most of all don’t forget to HOLD THOSE HEADS HIGH AND GOD BLESS ALL!!

Ahh Thanksgiving, lucky for me (I think) We have the same routine every year We go to Micks parents , along with all the other family, and eat around noon Meanwhile…I’m cooking at my place, and we eat MY food for supper I cook mainly for the leftovers! Yum yum…turkey!

Hi, I saw your site by way of Fran (josaju) so thought I would drop by and visit!
It’s fun to watch businessmen or women all dressed up going thru scanners at the airport. They have to take off their shoes like everybody else. When I flew out of Dulles(DC), I was worried my shoes weren’t too fresh so I apologized (a little) to the attendant. He said that they weren’t that bad. I said he’d probably smelled worse! He agreed.
In just one week you’ll have only 4 days…and a wake up…woohoo for you! jaywalSC

Words can’t really say well enough so let me share this… when I look at my daughter I want freedom for her and a chance to live without the fear… I want her to smile, laugh, play, and be a kid… not carry a gas mask or have to learn the bomb shelter plan. When I look at a soldier I nod and smile. I wish there was a simple way that I could tell them that I know their life is rough and the days are hard… and no one will understand exactly what they are going through except someone that has been there.
So when I look at them I thank God for them and pray for them… then I look at my daughter and hope she never has to fully understand. I wish I could send a picture of my family to every soldier that is signed… you are protecting what means the most to me… and you don’t even know them… THANKS!
Hi, John. Slippers are very important. I had a pair with gorilla heads, but I wore them out. I am now sporting a pair that are shaped like wolf feet. Quite the hit with my Halloweed costume, to be sure…

They throw away shoes when they get dirty? wow–thats a waste. I am going ask around and get a couple of friends to write some letters-then I will just send them to you to get to the chaplain. Very nice of you and thanks. I have to run by my sons for a few days and play nurse–atleast till the dr will let him drive !!No matter how old they get-there still your kids and his girlfriend has to work, so Im elected .Keep counting throse day–wont be long–those little girls are waiting and I know you need to take a deep breath of Texas air. I bought those marshmellow ghost that you OD on (Over Dosed) I have to wait til they get stale…a bit hard…before i eat them. they are yummier that way!!!

I am afraid of planes! I have been since I was about 11…I saw a bunch of boxcar planes about 50 feet above me…I ran home screaming..I thought the russians were gonna bomb us!!!! course that was just about the time of the Bay of Pigs and fallout shelter and air raids…..I never got over it though

Morning cupcake! I used to wash the all canvas ones. Won’t wash the leather…ruins it. Some if you wash them the soles come unglued. Sounds like you have happy feet, though.
