well howdy everybody – I went and visited a good friend Sunday and was trapped untill Monday around 11 –
Yes I was on the Suzuki and man did it rain Sunday around 7 pm – Well they live in the woods and I had a 2 mile stretch of red road looking at me that was WET – Yes it was slipperier than owl crap – I called my fixing to be boss only to not get to talk to him – So I stayed the night and tried my luck after 11am – It was still awefull slipppery and I could of sold a tape of me getting that heavy bike down thew skatting wrink for sure – Once I hit pavement I stopped at a store and rested for 30 or 45 minutes – Every inch of my body hurt and my brain was feeling alot better – I slipped a couple of times and just knew this was it – I drove extra slow and had my feet out like a kid with a new bike – Not funny – Man those inside leg muscles just are not use to the straining – This is what I wish I was on -
Then would have had more feet on the ground – I called my new boss this morning and he wants to call me at noon – I told him I have to get to work this week with or with out him – It is commercial work and I will be adding skills to my knowledge – I am sure it is a go because I have worked for him before, but his work slacked off and we were fishing more than working – Speaking of which – My fish were not ugly – Goodness all the pretty fish are to look at any way – Hope all is having a great week – I am – john

It was so awesome. Know your thought of alot here in sunny Fl…Love you much bro…Sis Pris
Sounds like you had quiet an adventure. Your lucky you werent hurt. We are supposed to get more rain and storms tonight–hoping they pass us by. Take care of yourself. Keep fishing–especially those ugly catfish. I get called a liar a lot when I trry to tell people up north about how big catfish get. They think it’s just “Texas Tall Tales”
Thanks, I try lol. I agree with Pris… you need to change ur sn.. this just isn’t working for me anymore!

Hey John! Sounded like one hell of an adventure! Guess you are talking about that old red clay mud??? The worst! Today we actually didn’t get any rain..knock on wood! But Ibeleive they are forcasting some later tonite! I am so sick of rain…and it’s muggy too Right now it is after dark and still in the 80′s! nice lookin bunch of cat fish you had there! they’d look alot prettier deep fried on a plate with some hush puppies and cole slaw! lol Take care John..have fun with the girls this weekend!
RYC: Not my usual style but I really did not want ten paragraphs of two sentences each. LOL We made some good memories, which is a very good thing since that place has always had bad associations for me. Two very not good dates…and one on my twentieth b-day so was a bit nervous about coincidences.
I still say catfish are ugly! Eww! Bullheads are worse…black and creepy with their whiskers. Red clay is nasty wet. I don’t envy you that ride. Ran into too much of that stuff on visits home to Michigan. I’d have been tempted to ride it along side the road instead, if possible.
Hi John…bikes were not meant for mud…I stick with the bronco

That’s the only problem with a bike! We sure have been getting that rain too. Something else! Who cares what those fish look like, they make darn good eatin & are fun as heck to catch!
