As a lot of you know, my husband was recently diagnosed with cancer. Its been a rough 6-7 weeks. I can’t begin to tell you what all has happened in this past month and a half, but it’s definitely been one hell of an emotional roller coaster for us. It really forces you to have a new outlook on life. He is doing well and as he would say, he is “fighting this fucking thing!”. He’s on his way to beating it. So, as I sit here and see the medical bills start to pile up and wonder where I’ll find the money to pay for the things insurance hasn’t covered.. I know there are others out there who aren’t as lucky as I am at this moment.
A friend of mine just lost his wife to Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. His wife was an amazing woman and you can read their story here..
Sabrina Black’s spirited battle – 03/22/06
Steve has been a huge support in helping me get through this mentally, both before and after the recent loss of his wife, Sabrina. He is such an amazing man with more class and heart than I could put into words. I’ll never be able to repay him for the support he has knowingly and unknowingly given me and my husband, except for the following…
There is a fund for his wife that he is currently converting into a non-profit organization in hopes that it can one day pay 100% of the medical bills for cancer patients.
If knowing what my husband and I are going through and after reading Steve and Sabrina’s story has touched you in any way.. please make a donation to:

WOO HOO I am the first…MISSSSSSSSSSSS YOU…WIll soon be posting a video of sis riding her horse…Stop by so I can know ya still love me..LOL…your sis in SUNNY Florida…Pris HAPPY EASTER….
hehe, I am thinking “baldblueEasterBunny…bawk bawk”!!! lol. Remember that kids Easter commercial, where the kids say “thank you easter Bunny, Bawk bawk” (like a chicken)? Too funny!
Have fun coloring those eggs. God, what a mess! I guess the (Easter) grass is always greener… and know you are having fun. How are things w/ the Ex?
As for this person asking for monetary help, I don’t know John. It’s a very atypical way to pay your bills, I’d be a little suspicious of it. There are all sorts of funds and programs in hospitals for ppl who need treatment and can’t afford to pay for it. That lady needs a social worker, not an internet fundraiser! Your heart is made of gold my friend, don’t ever change.
love ya! Becky
Hey John hope you all have fun with the eggs My kids really don’t get into it anymore But I sure do lol! I’m just an overgrown kid! Have a great one ..looking forward to those pics!
I know you will have a wonderful Easter with those beautiful little girls. It’s amazing the smiles that kids can make. When they grow up its kind of quiet on holidays–so enjoy it now !! Happy Easter and ya’ll have fun
Why go to MySpace??? Just post here, we miss you, and I have to agree with Becky…marilyn
Abandon ship? NEVER! We like you just where you are thank-you-very-much!
I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for joining the Real Troops, Real support blog ring here on Xanga. I can’t thank you enough for showing your support, positive motivation and caring. Welcome aboard and again, THANK YOU.
Special reminder: when you go to the US Post office, they will ask you to fill out a customs form listing what you send. A word to the wise; DO NOT list phone cards on the customs form. If you do, there is a very good chance that the package will never reach its destination. I am not asking you to lie… just forget for a moment that you put a phone card in the box.
If you would be so kind, we at troops are keeping a record of what is going to the deployed heroes we sponsor. Keep a copy of that customs form for your records and let us know what you send. We at USA_Troops_Aide are keeping a running list of what is going to Iraq and Afghanistan and corresponding with the people we sponsor to make sure what we send gets there. Thus far we have a 100% receiving rate. I would like to keep it that way.
Again, Thank YOU for taking action and joining a xanga blog ring and reading a blog that does more than all other blog rings and blogs combined.
Send on… send on!!!
I’m with Becky & Marilyn on both counts. You need to stay here and just post once in awhile. I want to watch “your little angels ” grow up.
Have a blessed Easter & God keep you safe, healthy & happy. HUGS
I have a myspace also John just to try it out. Hope you had a great Easter!
